Tofino mudflats map

The Tofino Mudflats WMA comprises three separate units, totalling 21 square kilometres (8 square miles) in all, mostly intertidal mudflat.

Units one and two are on the southwest coast of Meares Island, centred on Arukun and Ducking Flats, respectively.

The third unit includes a complex of mudflats alongside Browning Passage, along the east side of the Esowista Peninsula, southeast of Tofino.
